Make your Own Luck

Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️

Growing up, this day was filled with traditions—special foods, Irish music, four-leaf clovers, and leprechauns. We talked a lot about luck… feeling lucky, being lucky.

But what does it really mean to be lucky?

And can you create your own?

Some people seem to have all the luck—winning a scratch-off, finding money on the street, or getting what they want with ease. And yes, sometimes life is random. There are moments of pure chance that we can’t control.

But there are also ways to create more “luck” in your life.

It starts with your mindset—what you focus on, what you believe, and how you show up.

Here are a few ways to begin:

  1. Get clear on your goals

Write them down. Visualize what your life would look like if you achieved them. Break them into small, manageable steps so you can build momentum along the way.

  2. Practice self-compassion

Be kind to yourself. If your inner voice is negative, it will keep you stuck. Try becoming your own biggest supporter instead.

  3. Practice gratitude

Whether it’s journaling or simply taking a moment each day, gratitude has been shown to increase happiness and overall well-being.

  4. Challenge what’s holding you back

What are the thoughts or beliefs keeping you stuck? Write them down. Then ask yourself: What would my future self believe to move forward? Begin to practice those beliefs.

  5. Let go of comparison

Other people’s success is not your story. You are uniquely you. Your path, your timing, and your version of “luck” are yours to create.

Maybe luck isn’t just something that happens to us.

Maybe it’s something we build—one thought, one choice, one step at a time.

We wish you luck in all areas of your life—and we believe in you. ☘️
